Session on eSim: An Open-Source EDA Tool Built on Python
Date: 11/09/2026Mr. Sumanto conducted a session on “eSim: An Open-Source EDA Tool Built on Python” as part of the One Week Short-Term Course on “Advanced Python for Engineering Applications,” organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, NITTTR Chandigarh. The session introduced eSim and highlighted its Python-based environment and applications in circuit design, simulation, and engineering education.
The session was attended by around 30 participants, who actively engaged in discussions and explored the practical use of Python and open-source tools for engineering applications. The session also demonstrated how open-source EDA tools can support accessible and hands-on engineering education.

Online Workshop with BCREC, IEEE Student Branch, ECE Department
Date: 02/09/2026Mr. Sumanto conducted an online workshop with the IEEE Student Branch of the ECE Department at BCREC. The workshop provided an opportunity for students to learn about eSim and explore its applications in electronics and open-source technologies.
The session was attended by over 60 students and facilitated technical interaction, knowledge sharing, and practical discussions related to eSim and electronic circuit design.

Date: 31/08/2026Mr. Sumanto visited the Electronics Department at IIT (BHU) and conducted a workshop for a group of students. The session provided an opportunity to introduce students to eSim and open-source technologies through practical interaction.
The workshop facilitated discussions and hands-on learning, enabling students to gain exposure to eSim and its applications in electronic circuit design and simulation.

Date: 30/08/2026Mr. Sumanto conducted a workshop on eSim at OOSC-4.0 held at IIIT Allahabad. The workshop provided an opportunity to engage with participants and discuss eSim and open-source technologies.
The session was attended by over 100 participants, while the conference recorded around 300+ registrations, providing opportunities for technical interaction, knowledge exchange, and networking among participants.

Date: 23/08/2026Mr. Sumanto conducted a tutorial session on eSim at the SemiconTantra Conference. The session provided an opportunity to interact with participants from academia, industry, and startups and discuss eSim and open-source technologies.
The tutorial was attended by over 100 participants, while the conference brought together more than 300 attendees, providing an opportunity for technical interaction, knowledge exchange, and networking.
