  • eSim Workshop with IEEE ComSoc and Kings College of Engineering

    Mr. Sumanto Kar conducted an eSim workshop in collaboration with IEEE ComSoc and the IEEE Student Chapter at Kings College of Engineering. The session introduced students to eSim and its applications in electronic circuit design and simulation.

    Around 30 students attended the workshop and engaged in interactive discussions. The session enhanced their understanding of open-source EDA tools and encouraged them to explore eSim for practical circuit design and simulation.

  • Online Workshop on Design and Simulation of Signal Processing Circuits Using eSim

    Mr. Sumanto Kar conducted an online two-hour workshop in collaboration with IEEE SPS Kerala on “Design and Simulation of Signal Processing Circuits Using eSim.” The session introduced students to the use of eSim for designing and simulating signal processing circuits.

    Around 70 students attended the workshop and gained practical insights into circuit design and simulation using an open-source EDA tool. The session enhanced awareness of eSim’s applications in signal processing and encouraged participants to explore open-source tools for hands-on circuit development and experimentation.

  • One-Day eSim Workshop at A. C. Patil College of Engineering
    Date: 06/10/2026

    Mr. Sumanto conducted a one-day workshop on eSim at A. C. Patil College of Engineering. The session provided an opportunity for students to learn about eSim and its applications in electronic circuit design and simulation.

    The workshop was attended by around 70 students and facilitated technical discussions, practical learning, and interaction on open-source EDA tools and eSim.

  • eSim Workshop at K. J. Somaiya Institute of Technology, Sion Campus
    Date: 05/10/2026

    Mr. Sumanto visited K. J. Somaiya Institute of Technology, Sion Campus, and interacted with the Principal and a professor from the EXTC Department. The discussions included interest in establishing a FOSSEE Centre and exploring various FOSSEE activities, particularly the GIS initiatives.

    Mr. Sumanto also conducted a four-hour workshop at the institute, attended by around 40 students. The session provided an opportunity for students to learn about eSim and its applications through technical discussions and practical engagement.

  • eSim Workshop at Vasantdada Patil Pratishthan's College of Engineering & Visual Arts
    Date: 24/09/2026

    Mr. Sumanto conducted an eSim workshop at Vasantdada Patil Pratishthan's College of Engineering and Visual Arts. The session was attended by around 30 students and faculty members, who actively participated in discussions and hands-on activities related to eSim and open-source technologies.

    The workshop introduced participants to the FOSSEE Verticals, eSim, circuit design and simulation, and PCB designing. Most participants successfully completed their PCB designs, and the Makeathon initiative was also shared to encourage further exploration of eSim through hands-on activities.
