  • 2-Day Workshop on eSim at YCCE

Yashwantrao Chavan College of Engineering - YCCE invited Sumanto Kar from eSim Team to conduct a 2-Day Workshop on eSim as a part of a Faculty Development Programme. The workshop was conducted on the 26th and 27th of December 2022. The focus of the workshop was to shift to Open Source EDA tool eSim. Various topics were covered in the Workshop like an introduction to FOSSEE, various software promoted by FOSSEE, advantages of OpenSource tools, contribution to the FOSSEE and OpenSource Community, an introduction to Spoken Tutorial, and many more.

The Workshop included a hands-on session on eSim where all the features of eSim like Analog SPICE simulation, PCB designing, Mixed Signal Simulation, interface to OpenModelica, Schematic Converters, and many more were seen in detail.

Thanks to YCCE for organizing and coordinating the workshop very well. We also request that all organizations to include eSim and other OpenSource Software in their curriculum and maintain the same spirit. A visit was also planned with the Professor of Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology to promote the FOSSEE movement.
