eSim Session under Faculty Development Program on Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and Industry 5.0

Mr. Sumanto Kar, Assistant Project Manager, FOSSEE, IIT Bombay, conducted a session on eSim as part of the Faculty Development Program on Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and Industry 5.0, organized by Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida, in collaboration with NIT Patna.

During the session, Mr. Sumanto Kar introduced participants to the eSim ecosystem and highlighted the importance of open-source Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools in engineering education and research. He demonstrated the key features and capabilities of eSim through practical examples and showcased its applications in circuit design and simulation.

The session witnessed active participation from more than 70 faculty members from various institutions. The interaction provided an opportunity to discuss the role of open-source technologies in modern engineering education and encouraged participants to explore eSim for teaching, learning, and research activities. The session concluded with an interactive discussion and positive feedback from the attendees.
